The General Meeting is held at 2pm on the 4th Thursday of every month at 4200 Raymond Reed Blvd. in Deming (next to the Southwest New Mexico State Fairgrounds). An educational program is held each month and the public is invited to attend.

The Society’s primary purpose is the dissemination and furtherance of knowledge of mineralogy, gem cutting and geology, and to stimulate interest in the development of these studies.
